What is it: Modular Train Driver Simulator
Needs: Any Amiga with at least 2 mb and WB2.04+
Reviewed on: A1200/030 10megs ram and HD.
Following on from Train Driver 1.9 and TD Route Generator, this new
version combines them with many new features, to allow loading of any
route with details.

Well as you can see from the above this is a detailed simulator and as
Train Driver simulators go this is most definitely the best. Well in
fact its the only one I've ever seen.
In fact it's very detailed just take a look at the screen (click the FIG
button) and notice all the dials and LEDs etc. Looks more like a cockpit
from a Jet Fighter.
As for the payability its a little complicated to start off but soon you
get the hang of it and your find yourself gleefully running through stop
lights and the like. But I have to say although its a very good
simulator and comes with a route generator and has more options than most
simulators it soon loses its novelty value and I'm sorry to say becomes a
bit boring. But that could be just me, maybe I need an anorak or some
thing?
There is an added bonus of a route generator so when you can make your
own routes up for the trains or just randomly gererate one.
If your into trains then this simulator is a must have if not then it
might still be worth a look. You never know you might just go the whole
hog and get a job at BR.
